Plenty of people that play online roulette have paid for a roulette system only to be left feeling empty when it ultimately fails. Today what I’m going to try and do is cover up exactly why roulette systems don’t work.
Roulette has a house edge that is built into the layout of the game. You cannot overcome the roulette house edge with any combination of bets or series of bets, it’s absolutely impossible.
The house edge alone is enough to kill of the majority of roulette systems over the long term. Strangely however most roulette systems fail long before the house edge would kill them off because they don’t maximize a players odds.
A classic example of this is the martingale system where you increase your bets after a loss. It often works over the short term which fools people into thinking that it works. The problem with it is that it only takes a few losses to take away your entire bankroll.
This is the difference between the martingale system and the house edge. When losing to the house edge it happens slowly over time but with the martingale you will lose everything in seconds. Also with the martingale you are only ever going to win one betting unit even though you will be betting large amounts after a few losses.
Another reason for most system failing is because they’re based on previous spins. Systems based on past results work on the theory of betting on something that hasn’t shown for a few spins. This is gamblers fallacy and like the martingale it doesn’t;t work especially if you are playing on a real roulette wheel.
Now with online roulette you can potentially use past results to predict future spins because at the end of the day it’s a software program. I should say however that while it is certainly possible to use past results to predict the future with online roulette it’s not very likely because it would take a lot of time and research over a lot of spins. These are the most common reasons for roulette systems failing whether it be for a real roulette wheel or for an artificial wheel in an online casino.
One of my hobbies is playing roulette online and one the casinos where I do this is 32Red. They are a casino that are based in the United Kingdom and are very open about who the company directors are and where they’re based.
The honest way in which 32Red operate their casino is responsible for me signing up in the first place. While I play all of the games from time to time the main game that I play is roulette and 32Red have multiple versions on offer.
32Red use two different gaming styles for roulette and under each style you will find a few different games. The two different styles are gold and standard.
Of the two my favourite is the gold version. The graphics with the gold version are far superior and the way the ball bounces around and lands in one of the slots looks fantastic, it almost looks real.
The second reason is because you get a free spin option. This means that you can spin the wheel without placing any bets. With the standard version you need to place a bet on every single spin which can annoys some players.
To be honest the graphics of the standard game need updating a little bit, when you spin the wheel you watch it spin and then it suddenly stops on the winning number. The issues with the graphics and the absence of a free spin put me off the standard version.
I hope I’m not putting you off 32Red by saying this because the gold version is excellent and one of the best around. With the gold version you can play either French or European roulette, I prefer the French game because the house edge is less.

Today I’m going to be speaking about websites that claim there is some kind of “flaw” in online casino software. They claim that these flaws can be exploited for easy cash.
This couldn’t be further from the truth, any website of this kind is set up by casinos themselves to dupe people into playing. They give you a system which is often aimed towards roulette and they say that the system exposes a flaw in the online roulette software.
The system you’re given is always a variation of the martingale which means you increase your bets after a loss. The method is to bet on either colours or dozens, but neither is better, you have no chance of winning.
The online casino market is very competitive and some casinos have resorted to this black hat level of promotion. All they have to do to get customers is tell people how easy that they can make money with their system, which is not true of course.
Lets think for a minute about what online casinos are. They have massive investors and are so advanced and have the cleverest people in the world developing them.
There aren’t any flaws to be found and if there were the programmers would soon sort it out. It is estimated that in 2009 the online casino business generated $10 billon in revenue. This simply wouldn’t be possible if there was some sort of flaw in the casino software that people were making money from.
I would advise extreme caution next time you end up on such a website, or better yet just close the page. It is just an elaborate advertising ploy and they know that the system they are promoting is rubbish.
I would also advice you to never trust an online casino that stoops to these levels of promotion. I really think that the way they attract customers does not bode well to how they will treat them after sign ups i.e. with payouts of winnings.
